The Five Ponds Wilderness Area

The way the Adirondack's were intended to be experienced. This 107,230 acre area lies between "Cranberry Lake" and "Stillwater Reservoir" and contains some of the  remote, & untamed wilderness in the Adirondack Park. Trails are mostly in the northern part, leaving much of the area trailless. This area contains breathtaking scenery,  and ample wildlife viewing opportunities,  as you explore and experience the rawest form of Adirondack back country wilderness.
