This area  was once owned by the The Schuler family, whose fortune was made in potato chips. In a time where beetles were ravaging potato crops, they grew a "experimental potatoes" in the area near Streeter Lake now referred to as the "Potato Patch"  A beautiful Mausoleum was erected on this property upon they're passing and serves as the Schuler Family's final resting place.

Not far from this location, is beautiful Crystal Lake with its clear water and an "imported" sand beach which is Well worth the extra effort to visit.

Streeter Mountain

Streeter Mountain is a short hike along a well-developed trail that passes by Streeter Lake and leads toward Star Lake. The bushwhack is an easy 0.5 miles through an open hardwood forest with limited views through the trees, but does make for a wonderful hike through an undeveloped wilderness area.

Trails Uses:Hike (bushwhack)
