The Oswegatchie River is a highlight of the entire region and for the Hamlet of Oswegatchie that statement is as true as ever.

 

One of the main access points of the river can be found off The "Oylmpic Scenic Byway" NYS HWY 3. This location is referred to as "Flat Rock" and is a NYS D.E.C. Maintained boat launch which is also one of our

"top 10 Area Favorite Fishing access locations"

 

a busy launch area, this location allows great access to paddling without heavy currents, as well as ample fishing opportunities.
