From Windfall you have access down river for some outstanding and scenic paddling, as well as some excellent trout fishing.
Please be aware, the inital portion of the Oswegatchie River from the canoe access in Windfall is a bit "boney" at first, and a small wooden bridge down stream from the canoe access site may (during high water conditions) pose a problem requiring you to portage around it.
Eventually, the River does open up to some very attractive widenings, where birds and other wildlife flurish and an extensive variety of fresh water fish can be caught. Follow the river long enough from here... and you will find yourself in the hamlet of

Windfall-Oswegatchie River Canoe Access Site
From the intersection of River Road and Tooley Pond Road in the hamlet of Windfall. Follow Tooley Pond Road south for just under 1-mile to the car-top launch site on the right. This launch has enough parking for 3-4 cars and is less than 50-feet to the waters edge.
