Although the Little River is a bit"boney" in places, it can still provide an exceptional paddling experience, as you navigate your way from the Star Lake Area, deep into the "Aldrich Wild Forest". This span of the Little River also provides ample opportunity for some excellent fishing and is one of our "area favorite", fishing access locations.
Little River "Young’s Road Access"
This is a roadside boat launch for the Little River and will access you up and downstream along the river.
Trailhead Location:
From the intersection of Route 3 and Youngs Road, follow Youngs Road for just under 1.5 mile to the boat launch on the right.
Trail uses: Boat Launch, fishing access, birding
