"Where wilderness meets water"
CLIFTON-FINE

Greenwood Creek / Greenwood Falls
Greenwood Creek is a relatively calm babbling stream. But as the channel narrows it starts to decend rapidly over a series of drops.
totaling approximately 60 feet.
Greenwood Creek then flows into the bigger and calmer section of the creek which eventually empties into the West Branch of the Oswegatchie River.
Greenwood Creek also offers some fantastic Brook Trout fishing opportunities, and also has an excellently maintained DEC picnic area, nature trail loop and a few primitive campsites available on a first come first serve basis.
Directions:
From NYS HWY 3 between Fine and Harrisville turn onto Greenwood Road. Continue down Greenwood Road a few short miles to the to the picnic area. Follow the trailmarkers from the Picnic area to the Nature trail loop.
