This 2.2 mile loop trail is a great addition to the "Cranberry Lake Wild Forest" and will introduce you to some very wild country that is so close to town.

 

With great views out over a wetland and the peace and tranquility of seclusion, you will find yourself in a wonderful place. This is also wonderful cross-county ski loop in either direction in the winter.

 

Trailhead Location:

 

Locate the slightly obscured trailhead parking about 0.25 miles outside of Cranberry Lake on Route 3; right side of the road.
