Basford Falls is the Last waterfall along Tooley Pond Road.
At slightly under a 1.0 mile round trip hike you will have a pleasant walk in the woods.
The trail starts out flat but will soon climb moderately through a pleasant hardwood forest to a height-of-land before a steep descent to the shore of the Grass River is required. Under the tall hemlocks you will have a tranquil retreat as the river passes by along some very attractive cascades.
Trailhead Location:
Just west of Cranberry Lake locate Tooley Pond Road. Turn down Tooley Pond Road and continue for 15.5 miles to the trailhead on the left.
A small 8" x 10" sign on a tree marks the trailhead.
Trail uses: Hike, Snowshoe
