      Volunteering/Donations

We offer donors convenience and more: we're local, we know the issues our communities face, and we know the nonprofits working to solve them. Funds collected are pooled and invested. The income from these funds is distributed through grants. We research each nonprofit organization before we make a grant to make sure that it is financially and programmatically sound.

      Goals/Plans for the Future

Adirondack Foundation will work proactively to identify current and emerging issues in three key areas – community vitality, connectivity and healthy environment – and develop the resources to address them.
