The Smart Growth Committee, a sub-committee of the Clifton-Fine Economic Development Corporation, seeks out grant opportunities for the Clifton-Fine area as well as managing  the administration of grant money.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

 

Some of the grant money that has been identified and obtained, has led to building/improving: the playground parking area in Wanakena, Newton Falls, Cranberry Lake and Fine. A canoe launch on Youngs Road in Star Lake,Tooley Pond Road In Windfall, and on County Rt 60 in Newton Falls, along with a new public bathroom in Wanakena.

 

 

VOLUNTEERING / DONATING

 

Volunteers participate on the local waterfront advisory committee, projects, and for refurbishing. Any donations received are used for projects that the donation is targeted for.

 

GOALS / PLANS FOR THE FUTURE

 

Identify more and more grant money for future projects that the community deems important.
